About The Position

Responsible for planning, producing and distributing strategic communications for assigned functional areas and projects, supporting the document production process, and seeking to create new solutions to improve communications at INPO.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Three or more years of professional work experience
  • Must be able to work prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to work under minimal supervision
  • Must have a US state or territory issued Real ID compliant driver’s license or identification card

  • Employment is dependent upon successfully completing a pre-employment background check and drug and alcohol test.

  • This position requires direct or indirect access to certain export-controlled technology, for which INPO may be required to obtain an export license in accordance with applicable U.S. export control laws and regulations. If an export license is required, any offer of employment at INPO for this position is contingent upon receipt of the export license or authorization.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or public relations
  • Three or more years of experience in corporate communications, marketing, journalism, or public relations
  • Experience leading and managing projects or project sub-teams

Responsibilities

  • Functions as a Communications Single Point of Contact (CSPOC) assigned to support leadership responsible for INPO major operations
  • Produces communication strategies, plans, and projects to support organizational initiatives
  • Coordinates, develops, and implements a variety of content for periodic internal and external channels
  • Supports organization with planning and production of conferences and meetings
  • Functions as a project team member cross-functionally to support delivery of communications
  • Coordinates and successfully fulfills document editing requests
  • Demonstrates proficiency in providing basic graphics, video editing or production support for specific products
  • Uses accepted measurement and evaluation tools to assess and enhance overall communications effectiveness
  • Performs other duties as assigned
