Associate Project Engineer (Remote) Skillsets: The Ideal candidate will have previous experience with the stages of Design, Construction, Commissioning, Integration and Closeout of carrier networks. RF Source experience with any OEM: Nokia, Ericsson, Airspan or Andrew desired. iBwave/iBwave Viewer and other RF prediction tools desired. Strong organization skills for tracking and managing projects and internal teams with attention to detail through the phases of approval to on air. Excellent communication (written and oral), interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Problem-solving, critical thinking, and leadership abilities. In-depth knowledge of deploying turnkey end-to-end cellular grade networks through either past employment with an operator or through working with the mobile operators at a cellular equipment manufacturer or systems integrator Experience with: 3+ years as a Project Coordinator managing projects, budgets, providing professional and timely updates to both the customer and the CTS team and entering required project information into SiteTracker and other Project Management databases Project Management of turnkey DAS solutions: design, construction, integration MNO Carrier tools and terminology with the use of MNO laptops, MNO databases to enter data, actualize milestones, and create reports.

Requirements

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in construction, telecommunications, or a related field, ideally in an Engineer or Project Coordinator role.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • The Associate Project Manager will be responsible to support the project deployment for regional and national MNO projects.
  • Project Coordination : Coordinate regional and national teams to schedule/assist in pre-construction site survey walks, coordinate with A&E vendors for creation of construction drawings, environmental, zoning and leasing tasks (as needed), creation and assistance with commissioning documents, scheduling with regional teams for integration, commissioning, troubleshooting technical and logistical issues, successfully test e911, and submit closeout documentation.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, schedules, meeting minutes, and closeout packages. Learn how to produce a quote book and bill of materials based on project requirements.
  • Schedule Monitoring: Assist in monitoring project schedules, and flagging potential delays or costs to the HetNet Manager and Regional Project Manager, guiding Turnkey project implementation procedures nationally within CTS
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management : Serve as a point of communication between team members, MNO contacts, site venue, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates and helping to resolve issues or conflicts as they arise.
  • Design & Technical Support: Assist in reviewing construction drawings and specifications, and RFIs (Requests for Information), and coordinating with RF engineers and commissioning teams.
  • Provide support to National Sales, Market Directors, and Sales Engineers to help manage project pipeline for HetNet, Private Wireless, and MNO national programs.
  • Understanding processes to assist internal resources (local and national SPEs) to meet the needs and growth of the HetNet/Small Cell construction and integration projects
  • An Associate PM will be supervised and trained by the HetNet Manager and Project Engineer with emphasis also directed to increasing experience with full turnkey project management for MNOs with various types of venues and DAS OEMs.
