About The Position

STABLE FULL-TIME WORK EXPECTED THROUGH THE 2026 CALENDAR YEAR AND BEYOND!
Purpose of the Position: Assist rebar Estimator(s) to provide estimates based on bid documents and drawings. Apply learned estimating processes and procedures to assigned projects and develop into the position of a Reinforcing Estimator.

Requirements

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Previous rebar or reinforcing experience required.
• Computer skills and ability to learn programs related to products required.
• Should be experienced in the construction market and blueprint reading with strong analytical and mathematic skills.
• As a condition of employment, all applicants are required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check that must be completed, post offer of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in compiling rebar estimates on construction projects and prepare bids for customers.
• Update and maintain project folders as required.
• Preparation of jobs for supply vendors, contract administrator, detailer and foreman.
• Provide follow up bids, record and maintain date in bid logs.
• Work with Branch Manager on pricing strategies.
