About the position
The Red Hat Insights Engineering team is looking for a motivated Associate Software Quality Engineer to join us ONSITE in Raleigh NC. In this role, you will use your software quality engineering expertise to enhance Security and Operations services on console.redhat.com. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative and globally distributed team.
Responsibilities
- Research, develop, and implement test automation tools and frameworks to ensure high test coverage.
- Design and execute functional, integration, usability, and regression tests to maintain product quality.
- Collaborate with a globally distributed team of software developers, support engineers, and documentation teams.
- Demonstrate and present developed test cases to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 2+ years of strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Must be ONSITE in Raleigh NC.
- Experience working in cross-functional, collaborative environments.
- Solid programming/scripting skills in one or more of the following languages: Python (preferred) or Go.
- Solid skills with Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with continuous integration (CI) systems.
- Effective communication skills, accountability, and a growth mindset.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Git in a Linux environment.
- Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, or Fedora.
- Red Hat certifications.
