This role will be based in Sunnyvale, CA, San Francisco, CA or New York, NY. We're seeking a Strategic Finance Associate to partner closely with LinkedIn Talent Solutions R&D leaders in shaping product strategy, monitoring key business metrics, identifying emerging trends, and sizing the financial impact of strategic initiatives. This highly cross-functional role emphasizes operational rigor and strong execution against top priorities.
Responsibilities
- Conducts in-depth analysis of our LinkedIn Talent Solutions business and develops deep understanding of key value drivers to identify improvement areas and opportunities.
- Builds collaborative relationships with other teams and seeks input and feedback to develop an understanding of their priorities and constraints.
- Partners with cross-functional stakeholders to support the growth of initiatives by providing a metrics-oriented perspective, with minimal supervision.
- Manages financial/operational dashboards to monitor business line performance and analyze business drivers.
- Runs, operates, and improves the performance management process for key consumer metrics.
- Demonstrates a growth mindset and champions cross-functional collaboration, aligning with LinkedIn's values of transformation, integrity, and putting members first.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field AND minimum 1 years of experience in finance, finance accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or related field OR equivalent experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Background in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, strategy or growth role within a technology company.
- Experience decomposing and solving real-world business problems, ideally using advanced Excel / SQL skills; able to both delve into the details and engage meaningfully on higher level strategy.
- Effective communication skills to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations; ability to credibly and compellingly present and debate recommendations with senior leadership.
Benefits
- The pay range for this role is $95,000 - $126,000.
- The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
