About The Position

Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is looking for an Associate Supply Chain Management Analyst to join our F/A-18 team in San Antonio, TX. Position Responsibilities: Apply change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions Apply Supply chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain Coordinate with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers and customers Incorporate Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production plan Coordinate part number attributes Verifies the released engineering BOM has been correctly implemented in the material planning system Release and maintain orders Document and resolve order delinquencies Report schedule adherence issues Apply developed solutions to inventory plans Analyze and disposition excess and obsolete inventories Create schedules for products and services Coordinate and support process improvements

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Materials Management
  • 1+ years of experience with GOLD
  • 1+ years of warehouse inventory experience
  • Ability to work variable shifts (i.e. scheduled and unscheduled overtime; weekends and holidays) to support mission requirements and workload

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of experience with industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications and Product)
  • 1+ years of experience reading and understanding technical publications to include drawings, schematics, work instructions: (Engineering Information Delivery (EID), Reference Engineering Data Automated Retrieval Systems (REDARS)
  • Experience with US military supply systems
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field
