About The Position

The Associate Technical Designer will assist in measuring, fitting, and grading product to create a finished technical package for factory direct programs.

Requirements

• Exercises sound judgement and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Detail oriented
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Design or related field preferred, or 5+ years of technical design experience is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of progressively responsible experience in technical design or a related field, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create technical packs based on direction given during handoffs from the design and buying teams.
• Assist with evaluating development samples to ensure construction, fit, and material standard specifications are met.
• Assist with updates to tech packs.
• Communicate issues related to quality and fit with overseas factory partners and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with product quality audits.
• Other related duties as assigned.
