Role description: This role is part of Arcadis’ Global Excellence Centre (GEC) and will join our 3,000+ talented individuals working in India, Romania, and Philippines, in partnership with Arcadis’ offices globally. You will join our Urban Development Team in Arcadis, where we are conducting, advising, designing, and coordinating the implementation of solutions in the construction and development of residential and industrial areas, redevelopment of infrastructure, and improvement and renewal of the built environment. We make use of the latest digital innovations and collaborate internationally with our colleagues to ensure a sustainable future in urban development. Overall technical leadership of Urban Development team of professional staff located across multiple GECs ensuring growth of capabilities to meet business demands, and delivery of high-quality project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Knowledge of technical software (Civil 3D,12d Model or other relevant)
  • Strong English language skills
  • With 15 years or more experience in Civil Engineering Design particularly in Land/Urban Development

Nice To Haves

  • Familiar with Canadian or US standards
  • Familiar with Australian standards
  • Familiar with European Legislation

Responsibilities

  • Overall verification and sign-off of milestone delivery of projects/task, liaise any concerns or development with the region if needed.
  • Ensure the delivery of projects/tasks within the team is in accordance with Management Systems to meet time, quality, and Budget.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff.
  • Engage with the senior leadership in the Region around technical matters.
  • Develop and implement new digital solutions on urban development projects.
