JOB SUMMARY The role of a Laboratory Resources Associate Technician is to provide the support work, care and daily observation of animals as required to assure continued accreditation through the Association for the Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care, International (AAALAC), and the continued availability of Emergent’s unique stock of guinea pig for use in product related testing. This position is a non-traditional position, meaning weekend, holiday, and as needed overtime is required. II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Animal Care & Facility Support Operation of autoclaves/cage washers/rack washers, including manual cleaning of caging and facilities as required. May operate a forklift as needed. Requirements
