Jordan Park is seeking a Technology & Data Engineering Associate to advance our data platform and data quality initiatives. This role operates at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, data quality management, and AI enablement. The Associate will design, build, and maintain production-grade data systems while partnering directly with executives, investment teams, operations, and client service professionals to drive measurable business outcomes. This is a hands-on technical role with meaningful ownership and visibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree with 3–5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, Business Intelligence or related technical role
  • Advanced SQL proficiency (production-level experience)
  • Experience with dbt and Snowflake (or similar modern data stack)
  • Strong Python skills for data engineering and automation
  • Experience with Tableau or similar BI platform
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A positive, helpful and can-do attitude

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in wealth management, asset management, fintech, or financial services
  • Familiarity with Salesforce reporting and CRM data models
  • Experience building AI workflows or internal GPT tools
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain production-grade SQL data pipelines (e.g., dbt + Snowflake + Python)
  • Develop and manage orchestration workflows (Airflow or equivalent)
  • Create data ingestion processes and API integrations
  • Monitor pipeline reliability and performance; proactively resolve issues
  • Develop deep expertise in firm data, systems, and processes
  • Design reconciliation frameworks across systems and automate data validation/exception reporting
  • Perform detailed variance analysis and root cause investigations
  • Partner with operations and finance teams to ensure reporting integrity
  • Architect and maintain Tableau dashboards used across the firm
  • Train and support internal stakeholders on self-service analytics
  • Develop Python-based tools for API integrations, data transformations, ad-hoc in-house applications & tooling
  • Build reusable modules and maintain code standards
  • Create automation solutions that reduce manual operational effort
  • Work closely with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to deliver clear executive summaries of data findings, operational trends, etc.
  • Document project discovery and project management artifacts
  • Translate technical work into business impact
  • Present findings to senior leadership
