About The Position

Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first This is a remote role reporting to the President of Operations for the North Region. This is a salaried position which includes participation in an annual incentive bonus plan of up to 35% of annual salary. As Associate VP of Operations, you will be responsible for administration and management of 34 branches located across the Midwest in KY, IA, IL, IN, MN, and WI. We ask that you have an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across segments and enterprise-wide. As one of the nation's largest home health providers, CenterWell Home Health (CWHH) combines the stability and opportunities of a large national company with the ability to make a positive, local impact. We provide care for patients in their homes who are managing a chronic condition or recovering from injury, illness, surgery, or hospitalization. The Area Vice President of Operations will implement the operational strategy required to fulfill the region objectives. This strategy will focus on assuring sales and earnings growth, operational success, ongoing performance improvement, and compliance and regulatory adherence. You will work with multiple areas at both the regional and corporate level to ensure achievement of overall goals. We prefer that you reside in one of the states within the North Region. We expect approximately 25-50% travel to achieve 15 – 25 branch touchpoints per year (in-person visits when possible). In general terms, you have operations management experience (typically 8+ years) in a multi-site, multi-state home health environment. You will have expertise in developing large-scale business strategy, along with a history of growth performance and budget achievements. You will have financial skills and an ability to create practical solutions to address challenges. Finally, you will be a people leader with executive presence and experience expanding and elevating the capabilities and performance of a multi-level team. Use your skills to make an impact

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in clinical (nursing or therapy), healthcare administration, business or related field.
  • Experience with and understanding of the rules and policies of the Home Health industry.
  • Experience with EMR or HIM systems.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal abilities and collaborate with individuals across multiple professional roles, including physicians, executive leadership, and medical groups.
  • Exhibit engagement and emotional intelligence.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to Market Executives of Operations and Remote and Regional Clinical Managers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Market Executives of Operations, including process and personnel management, achieving financial goals, etc.
  • Oversee and deploy Remote/Regional Clinical Managers.
  • Develop market plans, including growth strategies, budget, and annual planning; monitor market expenditures.
  • Direct market billing and credit activities; review billing rates; coordinate with Business Service Center for accounts receivable activities.
  • Analyze market conditions, competitors, and business volume.
  • Backfills for Market Executives of Operations to oversee Branch Directors if a Market Executive role is vacant.
  • Partner with sales counterpart to ensure continued branch growth by expanding our client base.
  • Work with clinical team to ensure quality deliverables.
