In addition to investment management, 6 Meridian also provides wealth advisory services to high-net-worth individuals and institutions. What You’ll DoAs a Associate Wealth Advisor, you will be responsible for leading and supporting all aspects of managing client relationships including preparation of financial plans and reports, reviewing portfolio performance and allocations, and completing projects as assigned by management. Over time, an Associate will gain an understanding of individual client relationships and eventually provide proactive support to clients as well as senior advisors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, financial planning, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or advisory roles.
  • Required Licenses: Series 7 and Series 66 (or equivalent), or SIE certification
  • Strong initiative and commitment to serve the client.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively across teams.
  • Proficiency in financial planning tools and Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
  • You are a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident or possess other unrestricted U.S. work authorization and will not require sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or anytime in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

  • Client Service & Coordination:Partner with lead advisors to manage client communications, produce customized reports, and support onboarding and account maintenance in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Meeting Management:Coordinate client meeting preparation for lead advisors with the assistance of the Paraplanning team. Manage account maintenance follow-up, meeting agenda creation, CRM documentation, and task tracking to ensure timely execution of action items.
  • Investment Support:Work with lead advisors to monitor cash balances, review portfolio allocations and performance, assist with investment product implementation and evaluate opportunities for new product solutions, ensuring proper execution and follow-through.
  • Wealth Planning:Update and monitor financial plans utilizing the eMoney platform, conduct necessary research, and recommend wealth planning strategies to the lead advisor.
