About The Position
Atlantic Health is searching for a full-time Assistant Manager of the Materials Management Department at Newton Medical Center. This position is Monday-Friday, from 7a-3p, and offers a robust compensation package that includes Medical insurance, Paid Time Off, Tuition Reimbursement, and more. The incumbent for this position will be responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products and parts that include functions such as warehousing, shop and delivery services to ensure material availability and delivery when needed to meet production schedules.
Requirements
- High school Diploma or GED

- 3–5-year experience in Logistics or related field.
- Advanced knowledge of forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Inventory control and stock replenishment
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates incoming/outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products, and parts.
- Supervises work and personnel associated with receiving, shipping, materials handling, warehousing, and/or expediting.
- Drafts and maintains production schedules.
- Ensures material availability and delivery.
- Oversees the day-to-day activities of production or operations workers.
- Uses order volume data to forecast and estimate future material requirements.
- Leads and directs the work of other employees.
- Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
