Athletic Trainer
About The Position
Professional Therapy Partners is hiring a full-time Athletic Trainer to support an NAIA member institution in Hobbs, New Mexico. This is a 12-month contract role supporting collegiate student-athletes across multiple sports. You provide on-site athletic training services while being supported by a virtual assistant Athletic Trainer , allowing you to focus on care delivery without carrying the full administrative burden alone. This role fits clinicians who value structure, teamwork, and consistent scheduling in a collegiate environment. This position supports a collegiate athletic program where athlete health, consistency, and professional collaboration matter. The hybrid on-site and virtual Athletic Trainer model reduces burnout while maintaining high-quality care for student-athletes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- BOC Athletic Trainer Certification in good standing
- Licensed Athletic Trainer in New Mexico (or eligible for licensure)
- Current CPR/AED Certification
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site athletic training coverage for practices and competitions
- Evaluate and manage athletic injuries and conditions
- Develop and oversee injury prevention and rehabilitation programs
- Coordinate care with coaching staff and medical providers
- Maintain accurate documentation and injury reports
- Collaborate with a virtual Athletic Trainer for care coordination and follow-up
