About The Position

To handle the day-to-day operations of the pool. Monitoring of access to the pool by checking for appropriate Wintergreen Passes, while being knowledgeable of all Wintergreen issued passes. Keep all pool areas clean and stocked. Checking on bathroom facilities and taking the necessary action to be sure they are ready for our guests. Completing daily pool maintenance such as vacuuming the pool, scrubbing tiles and any other task assigned by the Manager. Complete opening and closing checklists. Follow all operating standards.

Requirements

• Knowledge of or ability to learn pool maintenance techniques and equipment
• Ability to handle chemicals safely and accurately
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting heavy equipment and working in outdoor conditions

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to pool guests
• Understand and uphold access policies
• Maintain cleanliness
• Maintain chemical balance of the pool water
• Skim and remove debris from the surface of the pool
• Vacuum and brush the pool walls and floor
• Monitor and adjust pool equipment, such as pumps and filters
• Test water quality regularly and make necessary adjustments
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to management
• Complete any additional tasks and assignments assigned by the Lake Supervisor and Manager.
