About The Position

The Production Coordinator - Audio is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of the venue’s sound system, ensuring high-quality audio for live events. This role also supports A/V and PA systems, assists with stage and equipment maintenance, and serves as a key liaison between vendors, artists, and crews to ensure seamless event execution.

Requirements

Prior experience with live sound production, A/V systems, and stage setup preferred.
Proficiency in operating and maintaining audio, PA, and A/V systems; knowledge of stage equipment and lighting.
Ability to lift and transport equipment, work in a fast-paced environment, and perform stage maintenance tasks.
Strong ability to coordinate with artists, vendors, and crew members.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues under pressure.

Responsibilities

Responsible for set up, operation and maintenance of venue sound system.
Operate sound system during shows and confirm that microphones and speakers are functioning.
Serve as back-up for A/V and PA systems.
Responsible for set up, operation and maintenance of A/V system.
Maintain the public announcement system in optimal working condition.
Operate PA during shows if Sound Engineer is absent.
Venue maintenance including lighting, sound, stage and equipment.
Responsible for set up and break down of equipment on stage.
Load/unload equipment from trucks and set up equipment according to stage design while ensuring safety requirements are met.
May be responsible for production and operations aspects including vendor end-to-end onsite set up: exhibitor registration and follow-up survey.
Serve as the primary liaison between vendors, artists, sounds crews, and property management companies in execution of shows and events.
