POSITION OVERVIEW The Audio Visual Specialist provides daily on‑site operational and sustainment support for audiovisual systems across United States Army Fires Center of Excellence (USAFCoE) classrooms and event spaces, ensuring all equipment remains fully functional and mission‑ready for Government training. This role is responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance on classroom AV components, troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues, replacing parts, and maintaining accurate logs, inventories, and sustainment records through Army-approved systems such as AESMP and SharePoint. The specialist coordinates closely with Government personnel, serves as the primary classroom support representative, and provides user training on audiovisual and instructional technology equipment. Additional responsibilities include supporting ceremonies, presentations, and events by setting up, operating, and monitoring AV systems to ensure high‑quality audio and visual output. The position also requires managing the audiovisual loaner program, handling shipping and receiving of repair parts, interpreting wiring diagrams, and ensuring compliance with all operational standards. This role demands strong communication skills, professional certification in audiovisual technology, physical capability to handle equipment, and adherence to required security and technical training standards.
