ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Audio-Visual System Engineer (AVMM) to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD. The AVMM SME is responsible for Kitting and deploying small, medium and large conference rooms, classrooms and small meeting areas with video/teleconferencing, other integrated pieces of AVMM hardware and data walls in support of the Government customer.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, design, document, install, implement, test, and perform problem isolation and resolution for AVMM End User Devices and related networks.
  • Maintain a complex range of AVMM and computer network components and systems.
  • Support integration of a total AVMM network including planning, design, installation, maintenance, management, and coordination.
  • Monitor, tune, and support existing AVMM devices and network infrastructure.
  • Support identification, assessment, and development of detailed requirements for upgrading AVMM networks.
  • Analyze current products and recommend changes/upgrades to senior management.
  • Assemble and update documentation in the form of problem and change management tickets.
  • Maintain timely and complete documentation of all daily and project work.
  • Troubleshoot and devise solutions to complex operational problems.
  • Follow technical standards set by senior level engineers.
  • Communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
  • May lead a small team to complete larger efforts.
  • Travel is required in support of service requirements ~20.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Basic knowledge with Crestron programming.
  • Experience with service management knowledge in key ITSM processes.
  • IATT Level 2 certification, such as Security+ CE is required.
  • Experience in a technical management role with an understanding of IT equipment.
  • Experience with presentations and ability to convey technical and business concepts.
  • Experience with resource management and managing teams.
  • Experience effectively managing and satisfying projects of a technical nature.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with customer ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
  • Expert Crestron programming capability.
  • Support to network devices in support of AVMM/IPTV/Streaming services.
  • PMP Certification and ITIL Foundations V3 certification desired.
  • Experience with large scale enterprise IT contracts.
