Location: Fort Sill, Oklahoma Digital Consultants is seeking an Audio Visual Engineer to support the design, implementation, operation, and sustainment of AVL-VC systems at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. This role will support classrooms, conference rooms, auditoriums, and related mission environments requiring advanced audiovisual engineering expertise.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in design, development, implementation, installation, operations, and sustainment of AVL-VC systems for large and small facilities
  • Minimum 10 years of verifiable experience with digital sound processors, digital projection and display systems, and control system installation and operations
  • Certification: Current InfoComm Certified Technology Specialist (CTS)
  • Clearance: Secret
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting AV systems including control systems, matrix mixers, routing, and switching components
  • Experience troubleshooting wired and wireless networks supporting AVL-VC systems
  • Ability to read and understand architectural plans and schematic line drawings
  • Strong communication and technical documentation skills
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, stand, kneel, squat, bend, lift, and push while performing duties. Ability to work at heights, in dimly lit venues, and in restricted space. Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 pounds. Excellent visual acuity and hearing

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field
  • Experience supporting classrooms, auditoriums, or enterprise training environments
  • Experience supporting major events and complex integrated AV environments
  • Experience training users or mentoring junior AV staff
  • Preferred Certifications: CTS-D, CTS-I, and/or additional manufacturer certifications in DSP, control systems, conferencing, or collaboration platforms

Responsibilities

  • Support design, implementation, installation, operation, and sustainment of AVL-VC systems
  • Troubleshoot and optimize control systems, DSPs, digital display systems, projection systems, and related platforms
  • Conduct site assessments, technical reviews, and support system upgrades
  • Read and interpret architectural drawings and schematic line diagrams
  • Support planning, troubleshooting, and sustainment of wired and wireless network-connected AV systems
  • Provide technical guidance across the AV environment
