Requirements
- Current Missouri Licensure (provisional accepted) as PLPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, PLP, or LP
- Or...
- Master's degree in a license-eligible field with intentions to seek licensure
Responsibilities
- Individual counseling: Address clients' mental health needs and personal goals through one-on-one sessions
- Group counseling: Guide supportive sessions for individuals facing common hardships
- Group education: Deliver lectures on subjects like stress management and coping strategies
- Assessments: Evaluate clients' mental health and substance use concerns via interviews and standardized measures
- Intervention: Mediate conflicts and improve relationships
- Multidisciplinary collaboration: Partner with professionals engaged in client care
- Referral coordination: Arrange appropriate referrals to specialized services
