We are currently seeking an experienced Auto Body Shop Estimator to join our team and contribute to our continued success. The Auto Body Shop Estimator plays a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive accurate and fair estimates for repairs on their vehicles. This individual will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing estimates, and communicating effectively with customers, insurance companies, and team members. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Prior experience as an Auto Body Shop Estimator or similar role in the automotive repair industry.
- Strong knowledge of auto body repair processes and industry-standard estimating software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering high-quality service.
- Valid driver's license.
- NYS Insurance Adjuster license
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to assess the extent of damage.
- Prepare accurate estimates for repair costs using industry-standard software and tools.
- Communicate estimate details clearly and effectively to customers, ensuring they understand the scope of work and associated costs.
- Liaise with insurance adjusters to negotiate favorable settlements for both customers and the company.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive repair processes, industry trends, and insurance regulations.
- Collaborate with technicians and other team members to ensure a seamless repair process from start to finish.
- Assist in scheduling repair work and updating customers on the progress of their vehicle repairs.
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns promptly, providing exceptional customer service.
