About The Position

DARCARS Collision Center of Prince George's County is now hiring Auto Body Technician/Mechanic $100,000K Plus per year (based on experience) Entry-level technicians are encouraged to apply! DARCARS Collision Center of Prince George's County is now hiring an Auto Body Technician / Mechanic to join our growing team. We are looking for motivated individuals who take pride in high-quality workmanship and want to build a long-term career in the automotive collision repair industry. As an Auto Body Technician / Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicle bodies and components in accordance with manufacturer and dealership specifications and time standards.

Requirements

Entry-level candidates welcome; experienced technicians strongly encouraged to apply
Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background check)

Nice To Haves

Previous automotive or collision repair experience preferred
CSI and quality scores above the regional average preferred
Ability to perform vehicle repair and maintenance services efficiently
Team-oriented with the ability to work on repetitive and complex tasks

Responsibilities

Perform work detailed on vehicle repair orders in accordance with manufacturer standards
De-trim, disassemble, and repair vehicles with urgency and strong attention to detail
Maintain and assist with identifying and sourcing parts and materials
Meet or exceed the Collision Center’s productivity requirements
Maintain tools and equipment in proper working conditions
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations affecting body shop operations (including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know)
