About The Position

Join our team at Riverview Chevrolet GMC as an Autobody Office Receptionist, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our autobody department. Located in the heart of Irwin, PA, this position offers a competitive hourly wage of $16.00 - $18.00, paid bi-weekly, and the opportunity to work in a friendly, fast-paced automotive environment. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will be the welcoming face of our autobody office, providing excellent customer service and coordinating office activities with professionalism and efficiency. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly as they arrive at the autobody department, making them feel valued and comfortable throughout their visit. Answer incoming phone calls promptly, directing inquiries to the appropriate team members or departments, and providing accurate information about services, appointments, and repair statuses. Schedule repair appointments and follow-ups, efficiently managing the calendar to ensure smooth workflow and minimal wait times for customers. Maintain detailed records of customer information, work orders, and insurance details using our office management system. Communicate with insurance companies to verify claims and streamline the claims process, supporting both customers and technicians. Assist the autobody team by preparing invoices, processing payments, and handling other administrative duties as required. Maintain a clean and organized reception area, reflecting the professionalism of Riverview Chevrolet GMC. Coordinate with parts departments and vendors to ensure timely availability of replacement parts necessary for repairs. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in office administration is a plus. Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in an automotive or autobody environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, insurance agents, and team members. Proficiency with office software, including Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to quickly learn specialized management systems. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
