About The Position
Operate the Maus SAM 600 automatic grinding machine to ensure product conforms to dimensional requirements as set forth by customer.
Requirements
- Math (Decimals, Fractions)
- Reading (Interpretation of blueprints)
- Writing (Recording information on sample inspection documentation).
Responsibilities
- Operation of Maus SAM 600 automatic grinding machine.
- Examine and quarantine defective parts.
- Perform additional grinding operations the Maus machine is unable to complete.
- Arrange, handle, load, and unload material.
- Assist programmer with machine setup and calibration in conjunction with the Engineering Department.
- Daily perform preventative maintenance on equipment by cleaning, lubricating, and protecting the equipment as required.
