Automation Intern - Operational Enablement
About The Position
Triumvirate Environmental is seeking a motivated and analytical Intern to support automation and operational enablement initiatives across the organization. The intern will work closely with the Automation Lead and gain hands-on exposure to automation strategy, process improvement, governance, and project execution. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented student who is curious about digital transformation, automation (RPA/AI), and operational excellence. The right candidate is proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong interest in automation, AI, process improvement, or digital transformation
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to synthesize information clearly
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
- Must have a reliable form of transportation
Nice To Haves
- Coursework in Information Systems, Data Analytics, or Artificial Intelligence
- Exposure to enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or process mapping tools
Responsibilities
- Support the Automation Lead in project planning and coordination across multiple automation initiatives
- Assist in tracking milestones, risks, and action items
- Support identification and documentation of automation opportunities
- Assist in process mapping (e.g., creating process flows and documenting current vs. future state)
- Assist in data collection and basic analysis to support business cases
- Contribute to scoring and prioritizing automation opportunities
- Prepare executive-ready PowerPoint materials and summary documents
- Conduct research on automation tools, best practices, and industry trends
