Your opportunity: As an Automation Technician I, II, or III for Greenheck Group you will build, wire, assemble, and install electrical controls used in machines and tooling systems. As a level II you will be responsible for basic programming of one or more of the following: HMI, PLC. As an Automation Technician III you will also handle work that is becoming more complex.

Requirements

0-2 years of relevant work experience required.
High school or GED required.
2 Year / Associate Degree in Electromechanical Technology, Automation Engineering Technology, or a related field of study preferred.
2-4 years of relevant work experience required.
2 Year / Associate Degree in Electromechanical Technology, Automation Engineering Technology, or a related field of study or equivalent years of job experience required.
AutoCad or Drafting software
Basic PLC training
Basic HMI Programming
4-6 years of relevant work experience required.
2 Year / Associate Degree in Electromechanical Technology, Automation Engineering Technology, or a related field of study or equivalent years of job experience required.

Responsibilities

Create electrical schematics and electrical cabinet layout using AutoCAD Electrical
Build and wire electrical panels.
Wire external machine components to electrical cabinet.
Develop electrical parts list for the project.
Write PLC-HMI program using various software packages.
Typical programs would be low complexity machine control.
Design low complexity machine guarding strategies that comply with OSHA and ANSI standards, to ensure the safety of our Greenheck teammates.
Order parts for projects using Ariba Purchasing system
Power up, troubleshoot, and commission machine to make production ready.
Typical programs would be medium complexity machine control.
Design medium complexity machine guarding strategies that comply with OSHA and ANSI standards, to insure the safety of our Greenheck teammates.
