As Axon's Automation Technician, you will be responsible for repairing equipment, supporting manufacturing lines, performing preventive maintenance, quality testing, data gathering, filling out non-conformance reports, and supporting the engineering team and QA department as needed.

Requirements

1-6 years of experience in electronics automation manufacturing
Knowledge of electromechanical systems
Ability to read and interpret written instructions.
Ability to use DMM.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work within a team.

Responsibilities

Assemble, install, repair, and maintain automation components and systems.
Perform preventative maintenance on production test equipment and subsystems.
Provide feedback to Manufacturing Engineering, R&D, Training, and Quality teams, regarding failure modes and frequency
Directly support the manufacturing line to meet daily and monthly goals.
Visually inspect, test, and assemble components or subassemblies using approved assembly procedures.
Use a computer to perform testing, download information or record test data.
Use hand tools, machine tools and various types of equipment to repair and test products.
Promote a continuous improvement environment by looking for more efficient ways to perform daily duties.
Communicate effectively and work under pressure with minimal supervision.
Take initiative in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Solve problems or identify issues and assist in resolutions.
Make reasonable decisions and escalate accordingly.
Understand and comply with all ESD requirements.
Promotes a safe work environment by adhering to all safety requirements.
