About The Position

The Thermoforming Automation Maintenance Technician ensures efficient operation, reliability, and continuous improvement of thermoforming automation systems. This role focuses specifically on the equipment and processes involved in product packaging, product handling, and all associated automated machinery Ensuring equipment runs efficiently Handles and packages products correctly Consistently produces high‑quality output while promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Requirements

  • Proven experience in a maintenance role.
  • Proven ability to lead repairs.
  • Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
  • Strong understanding of thermoforming equipment, maintenance practices, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven dependability, reliability, and multitasking abilities.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Specific knowledge of manufacturing, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Tolerance to work around grease, oils, inks, and solvents.
  • Ability to climb ladders and use necessary tools and equipment for repairs.
  • Capability to stand, walk, bend, or stoop throughout the shift.
  • Good manual dexterity.
  • 20/20 vision with correction to detect minor defects.
  • Ability to differentiate colors.
  • Demonstrate integrity, candor, and respect for others.
  • Foster a positive professional culture with a focus on safety and reliability.
  • Show genuine concern for people and actively assist those who seek help.

Responsibilities

  • Performing daily inspections
  • Conducting preventative maintenance
  • Troubleshooting issues
  • Completing repairs and executing automation-related projects.
  • Makes informed decisions and identifies improvement opportunities that support both immediate repair needs and long-term MEEF (Manufacturing Equipment Efficiency) enhancements, aligning with the goals of the Thermoforming Maintenance Department.
