About The Position

CAPITAL of Lexington is seeking an experienced Automotive Detailer to join our team. This role is a great fit for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of consistent, high-quality vehicle presentation in a dealership setting. The Automotive Detailer will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining both the interior and exterior of vehicles, ensuring they are ready for the lot or showroom. The ideal candidate has prior detailing experience, a strong eye for detail, and a dependable work ethic. We’re looking for someone who can work efficiently, stay organized, and take ownership of their work while contributing to a team-focused environment.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Automotive Detailer or in a similar role
Knowledge of various cleaning products, tools, and techniques used in automotive detailing
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Must pass pre-employment background screenings
Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

Clean and treat various surfaces, including leather, chrome, and glass
Utilize appropriate cleaning products and techniques to achieve desired results
Perform detailing services such as buffing, polishing, and applying protective coatings to maintain the vehicle's finish
Ensure vehicles are presented in a showroom-ready condition for display and customer delivery
Maintain and clean detailing equipment, ensuring proper functioning and longevity
Interact professionally with customers and address any specific detailing requests or concerns.
