About The Position

Auburn’s largest dealership group is looking for a dedicated Automotive Detailer to join our team! If you take pride in keeping vehicles spotless and polished and enjoy working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, we want to hear from you. As an Automotive Detailer, you will be responsible for cleaning and refurbishing both new and used vehicles to meet dealership and manufacturer standards. Your work ensures every vehicle looks pristine and is ready for our customers.

Responsibilities

Wash vehicle exteriors and clean interior and exterior windows
Wipe down doorjambs, apply wax to auto bodies, and buff or wipe surfaces
Vacuum vehicle interiors and remove dirt and debris
Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents
Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces
Clean engines and engine compartments using steam-cleaning equipment
Use special-purpose cleaners to remove difficult materials from vehicle surfaces
Inspect vehicles for defects such as dents, scratches, or torn upholstery
Restore the appearance of engines, rugs, upholstery, and painted surfaces
Apply tire dressing and fill vehicles with fuel
Replace small parts as needed
Keep showroom and inventory vehicles clean and presentable
Remove window stickers from sold vehicles
Maintain a neat and organized work area
Follow all safety procedures and report any safety concerns immediately
