Automotive Lead Technician - No Weekends!
About The Position
Main Street Auto (Day's Automotive, Crestview, FL) is growing fast — and we’re looking for an experienced A‑Level Automotive Technician / Mechanic who wants stable hours, top-tier pay, and a place to build a long-term career. If you’re skilled, motivated, and want to be valued for your expertise, you’ll love working with us. We’re hiring an Experienced Automotive Technician who can diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles with accuracy and efficiency. You’ll also take the lead on complex jobs and support other technicians when needed. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm (1‑hour lunch)
Requirements
- Proven experience as an A‑Level Automotive Technician
- Strong diagnostic skills (electrical & mechanical)
- Ability to handle complex repairs independently
- Experience using modern scan tools and shop software
- Excellent communication and time‑management
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Positive attitude and team‑oriented mindset
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate diagnostics for engine, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Complete repairs efficiently and safely
- Work with service advisors on repair recommendations
- Maintain clean, organized work areas
- Use scan tools, testing equipment, and shop software
- Support and mentor junior technicians
- Communicate clearly with teammates and leadership
- Stay up‑to‑date with tools, technology, and best practices
