About The Position

McCarthy Honda- Overland Park is seeking a reliable and organized Lot Manager to oversee the daily operations and organization of our vehicle lot. This role is responsible for managing vehicle placement, ensuring the lot is clean and presentable, and coordinating vehicle movement to support the sales and service departments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Requirements

Previous automotive dealership or lot management experience preferred
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to move quickly and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Previous automotive dealership or lot management experience preferred

Responsibilities

Oversee the organization and presentation of all vehicles on the dealership lot
Manage vehicle inventory placement to ensure efficient use of space and easy access for sales staff and customers
Coordinate vehicle movement between the lot, service department, and detailing areas
Ensure all vehicles are properly parked, locked, and secured
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional lot appearance at all times
Verify vehicles are properly tagged, priced, and displayed according to dealership standards
Assist with receiving new inventory and placing vehicles in designated areas
Monitor lot conditions and report any damages, safety concerns, or maintenance issues
Coordinate with sales and service teams to prioritize vehicle movement and availability
Supervise and assist lot attendants if applicable
