The Automotive Technician will: Diagnose and perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards. Perform used car checklists to identify what repairs need to be made. Complete full multi-point inspections and provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs. Communicate with Service Advisor’s to ensure efficient work flow. Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made. Demonstrate excellent guest service, which includes providing clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles. Test batteries of guest vehicles in service bay. Promote teamwork to deliver on guest expectations. Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
