Automotive Parts Driver - Part-Time - Wed-Fri 7am-4:30pm
About The Position
Are you looking to join a great team? Then look no further than Hoselton Auto Mall! We are looking for a retail part-time driver to deliver parts internally between our warehouse and dealerships! Schedule: Wednesday - Friday - 7:00am - 4:30pm Compensation: $17.00 / hour Why would you want to join the parts driving team? You will be working with our awesome staff ! Typically no long drive or GPS needed, rarely dealing with highways, usually going between Hoselton warehouse and our dealerships in East Rochester Our delivery van is the perfect size, no need for a big delivery truck! There is no special license required (must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record) What do our parts drivers do? Safely deliver auto parts between stores (should be comfortable in all types of weather) Safely load and unload parts for delivery (should be able to lift 75 lbs) Stocking inventory in the Chevrolet store General housekeeping for the retail parts departments Assist the team as needed (may need to pick up parts from another dealership or deliver to a customer in rare circumstances) Why Hoselton Auto Mall? POSITION SUMMARY The Parts Driver is responsible for pickup and delivery of parts and other items for the complex. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Parts Driver is accountable for performing the duties and responsibilities described below. The list, however, is not necessarily an exhaustive description of the duties and responsibilities associated with the job. Safely loading parts on to the truck and delivering them between the Wholesale Warehouse and other complex stores; Maintaining cleanliness of the parts truck and ensuring regular maintenance is being performed on vehicle as required (oil changes, inspections, etc.); Providing accurate time of delivery estimates; Obeying all traffic laws and being a courteous driver at all times; General housekeeping and maintenance; Stocking parts at the Chevrolet store; and Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed. Requirements
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
- High motivation, work ethic, and enthusiasm
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Some computer knowledge and/or experience
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to pass a drug test
Responsibilities
