About The Position

Drive Happy.” If you are someone who’s passionate about cars we want to hire you! We are looking for a skilled Auto Mechanic to maintain and repair vehicles. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximum reliability and functionality. An excellent auto mechanic has good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. They are well-versed in complex mechanical and electrical systems of vehicles and have excellent problem-solving abilities. They must also be good communicators to provide advice to customers.

Requirements

Valid driver's license
Demonstrable expertise in diagnostic and repair techniques for all types of vehicles.
Possess a comprehensive set of tools and equipment necessary for the job.
Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Reliable transportation
Possess a strong work ethic.
Must have automotive mechanical and electrical knowledge.
Proven experience as auto mechanic
Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift)
Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
High school diploma is preferred
Valid certification (e.g ASE)
To successfully perform the essential functions of the position, the employee must be able to read and write English.
The employee must be able to reach four feet in height overhead.
Some bending, stretching, and walking up/down the stairs will be used constantly.
The employee must be able to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers and respond to communication calls from co-workers.
Mobility is required.
