Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience as a technician, mechanic, or similar hands‑on role
- Strong troubleshooting skills—electrical and mechanical
- Able to read manuals, diagrams, and schematics
- Good communicator and team player
- Detail-oriented and able to solve problems on the fly
- Physically able to lift, bend, and stand throughout the day
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Nice To Haves
- State inspection certification is a plus (not required)
Responsibilities
- Routine maintenance and inspections on cars, trucks, and equipment
- Diagnosing problems—mechanical, electrical, whatever comes through the door
- Fixing and replacing parts: engines, brakes, transmissions, steering, etc.
- Using diagnostic tools to track down tough issues
- Keeping up with repair orders and documenting what you did
- Working with the rest of the crew to keep the shop workflow moving
- Staying safe, following shop rules, and keeping things clean
- Talking with customers when needed and explaining things in plain English
