About The Position

Copeland Chevrolet, located in Brockton, Massachusetts, is seeking a proven and motivated Automotive Sales Manager to lead, coach, and drive performance within our sales team. This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering strong sales results, developing talent, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience from start to finish. This is a full-time management position with a competitive compensation structure and a comprehensive benefits package. Requirements

  • Prior Automotive Sales Management experience required
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and teambuilding skills
  • Proven ability to drive results and manage performance
  • Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone
  • Solid understanding of desking, closing, and objection handling
  • Proficient in CRM systems and sales technology
  • Ability to analyze reports and sales metrics
  • Active driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Sales Consultants to achieve and exceed sales goals
  • Drive daily performance through training, accountability, and process execution
  • Desk deals, structure transactions, and ensure profitability and compliance
  • Monitor sales metrics, CSI, and individual performance results
  • Support customer escalations and ensure a worldclass purchase experience
  • Maintain strong followup processes for sold and unsold customers
  • Partner with F&I, Service, and Management to maximize dealership performance
  • Ensure proper lot merchandising and inventory presentation
  • Lead by example in professionalism, product knowledge, and customer engagement
  • Report directly to the General Sales Manager / Dealer Management Team
