Requirements

2+ years of automotive service technician experience preferred
Previous Ford dealership experience required; Ford Certification prefered
B-level qualifications including diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair
Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
Proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment
Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures, and manufacturer specifications
Steady hands, excellent hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude
Positive, team-oriented mindset and eagerness to grow
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Must provide own tools

Nice To Haves

Previous Ford dealership experience required
Ford Certification prefered

Responsibilities

Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
Complete repair orders efficiently and accurately in accordance with dealership and Ford factory standards
Test-drive vehicles and evaluate components using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment
Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
Communicate directly with service advisors to keep customers informed of additional service needs and provide accurate repair time estimates
