What You’ll Do As a Manager-on-Deck (MOD) , you’ll learn every aspect of store operations to prepare for a leadership role. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, you’ll master skills in people management, financial performance, operations, and customer service.
Requirements
- 2+ years of management experience or equivalent in the automotive industry
- Strong ability to coach and develop teams
- Proven success meeting sales and profit goals
- Previous automotive experience (Technician or similar role preferred)
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work 5+ days per week, including Saturdays ( never Sundays! )

Responsibilities
- Set clear expectations and communicate regularly with employees about goals, training, and customer service
- Hold team members accountable through coaching and support
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Recruit, interview, and hire new employees as needed
- Conduct regular performance evaluations
- Analyze business trends and develop action plans to meet or exceed sales and profit targets
- Share financial goals and results with the team during meetings
- Review invoices and reports to find opportunities for growth
- Maintain tight controls over assets and cash handling
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment—front and back
- Ensure all equipment is in good working order and request maintenance as needed
- Oversee proper return of unused parts and credits
