Responsible for Acquiring New Aircraft Insurance Customers by quoting, selling, writing, and serving personal aircraft insurance for aircraft owners in a fast paced, high volume insurance brokerage. This position requires independent judgement and discretion. Primary focus is meeting and exceeding new business goals for the agency, in accordance with agency policies and procedures. Must interact with underwriters at multiple insurance companies by phone and email to obtain insurance quotes and issue renewal policies. Outbound efforts include contacting customers to gather additional information, responding to internet requests for quotes, and following up on quoted customers. Outbound efforts also include closing new sales via outbound telemarketing to lists of target prospects. Explain insurance coverages and offer insurance advice to prospective and existing customers. Mains records according to Agency standards, ensures that procedures are properly followed and that information ins properly documented and readily accessible. Assists in the development of strong personal relationships with insurance carrier personnel. Responsible for meeting individual and team monthly sales and quality goals while working in a team environment. Dedicates time to personal professional and job competency development. Completes continuing education requirements to maintain required Property/Casualty insurance license.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years client service and/or claims management experience -OR- High School degree/GED with 8+ years client service and/or claims management experience.
  • Producer's License.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Appropriate licensing as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Aviation or Aerospace experience a plus.
  • Previous insurance knowledge and experience managing client relationships.
  • Solid financial acumen.
