Chevron is accepting online applications for the Aviation Maintenance Technician position through March 27, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (CST). The Aviation Maintenance Technician will be part of the maintenance team comprised of 11 employees all managed by the Manager Aviation Maintenance. The Aviation Maintenance Technician will be supervised by the Maintenance Supervisor for aircraft maintenance and work scheduling. The selected candidate will participate and contribute to maintaining the company owned aircraft in an airworthy condition as defined by the FAA, the OEM and company policies. Will be involved with fueling and towing of aircraft, arrivals, departures, assisting passengers and fellow crew members as required. May be assigned to a company aircraft in a crew chief role. Participate in the tool control program to account for all tools when work is complete. Safe work practices must be followed and always demonstrated. Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: Must adhere to all aircraft maintenance manual procedures and inspection criteria, aircraft safety SOP’s, airworthiness directives, personnel safety SOP’s and the use of proper PPE as required. Ensures all work meets FAA regulations and company guidelines. This is a fully qualified position that performs maintenance and repair and assists in inspection of company-owned aircraft to ensure proper operation, aircraft safety and airworthiness. Performs maintenance of airframe and power plant. Installs manufacturer's engineering changes. Removes and installs mechanical components of the aircraft. May be cross-trained to install, inspect, test, adjust, or repair industry standard equipment such as aircraft communication and navigation systems, radar, autopilots, and other electronic devices. Assists in performing FAA required formal inspections Perform pre-flight, post-flight, fueling, defueling, towing operations, participate with arrivals and departures as part of ground crew to include passenger escort, baggage handling, and onsite technical support for aircrew on an as needed basis. Participate & comply with all corporate compliance training & attend OEM aviation technical training as required to maintain proficiency on the aircraft and all systems to include avionics. Comply with all assigned collateral duties as assigned by the Manager Aviation Maintenance, and assist others as required.
