Requirements

  • Part 65 Airframe & Powerplant (FAA) certification
  • At least 2 years of aviation maintenance experience
  • US Driver's License
  • Must be able to read and write English language
  • Broad knowledge of engine hardware and flight line operations/procedures
  • Experience with the safe operation of heavy equipment and ground support equipment around aircraft
  • Adherence to DOT and FMCSA requirements which includes FAA drug & alcohol testing pool
  • Travel 5 to 8 nights per month. In particular, the ability to travel regionally for occasional overnight work assignments, and also one regular monthly 5-day/4-night customer assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-wing engine washes using mobile wash equipment
  • Operate and maintain mobile wash units and service center tools and vehicles
  • Conduct daily inspections, maintenance, and repair of service center tools and equipment
  • Follow all flight-line safety procedures to ensure professional and timely operations
  • Collaborate with airline and military maintenance personnel to meet customer requirements and resolve in-service issues
  • Accurately document all maintenance activities in compliance with FAA regulations
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service center processes
  • Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs for wash equipment and facility assets
  • Drive small DOT-regulated service trucks to customer locations throughout the region
