About The Position

The Senior Application Administrator is a critical technical role responsible for the expert-level configuration, maintenance, and lifecycle management of complex enterprise software. You will serve as the bridge between complex technical systems and end-user success, ensuring performance standards are met in a highly regulated environment.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Good knowledge of Windows OS administration, windows server administration
  • Ability to work and communicate with all levels of employee and management in a supportive and analytical role
  • Experience with application monitoring and performance tuning
  • Experience with enterprise application support, including SQL and reporting
  • Understands and applies change control procedures effectively, especially for all SOX applications
  • Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while performing duties
  • Relevant professional experience or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited university is preferred
  • Minimum of five 5 years of experience in IT and application support, preferably within banking or financial services is required

  • Bilingual in English and Korean is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level technical support for complex application issues; perform root-cause analysis and execute timely resolutions
  • Proactively monitor application performance, manage system patches, and execute configuration updates to ensure stability
  • Plan and lead end-to-end application deployments and upgrades. Define project scope, set milestones, and ensure deadlines are met through effective governance
  • Collaborate on new software implementations and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure seamless transitions
  • Act as the primary point of contact between internal business units and software vendors to resolve bugs and influence product roadmaps
  • Identify system bottlenecks and implement efficiency improvements to enhance the overall user experience
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive "gold-standard" documentation for troubleshooting, system architecture, and processes
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the manager
