About The Position

AWS Cloud Engineer The Opportunity: Everyone is trying to “harness the cloud,” but not everyone knows how. As a cloud computing infrastructure architect, you know how to take advantage of cloud capabilities. On our team of experienced professionals, you’ll use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to support your clients as they modernize their IT infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions. We’re looking for someone like you to help support national security. You’ll closely collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in AWS to design, define, develop, test, and debug cloud solution components. You’ll have the chance to work within a DevOps framework to create and manage container apps and use products like Kubernetes to further the mission, and you’ll partner with stakeholders and your team to deliver the right technical solutions to solve our clients’ problems. Whether modernizing legacy computing platforms and applications or creating new ones from scratch, you’ll have the latest tech and brightest teammates at your fingertips. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure
  • 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting applications, databases within the cloud
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS
  • 2+ years of experience with an IAC such as Terraform
  • Experience with Gen-AI tools, such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Claude Code
  • Experience deploying and troubleshooting IaaS environments and Linux or Unix-based systems, including shell scripting
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and automation tools, such as GitHub Actions
  • Knowledge of networking and debugging network connections
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Docker, Cloudera, or AWS ECS
  • Experience optimizing cloud cost management and implementing governance frameworks
  • Experience with CDC processes, data modernization efforts, and federal IT environments
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Cloud Certifications, such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional Certification, or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification
