About The Position

Azure Cloud Architect The Opportunity: Everyone is trying to “harness the power of the cloud,” but not everyone knows how. As an experienced cloud computing and DevOps architect, you know how to take advantage of cloud capabilities. Here, you’ll oversee our team of experts and use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to guide your clients as they modernize their Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions. We’re looking for someone like you to help evangelize and architect a multi-cloud solution helping support the DoD. You’ll collaborate closely with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in cloud to architect, build, and deliver multi-cloud solution components. You’ll have the chance to broaden your experience within a DevOps framework to lead, build, and manage container apps and use products like Kubernetes to further the mission. With access to our internal Azure, AWS, OCI, and GCP labs, you’ll have the space and time to explore different ways of solving our client’s challenges, and you’ll partner with stakeholders and lead your team to deliver and scale the right technical solutions. Requirements

  • Experience with AWS in FedRAMP or FedRAMP+ environments, end-to-end cloud solution design and deployment, or multi-cloud system integration
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary solutioning and architecture for cloud-based efforts, including legacy and cloud system deployments
  • Experience architecting and implementing highly scalable, available, and fault-tolerant cloud-based solutions while providing technical guidance to architects and engineers
  • Experience collaborating with DoD IT Security stakeholders, cloud service providers, and vendors to design secure cloud solutions, support risk management strategies, and validate cybersecurity or resiliency requirements
  • Experience managing projects and agile scrum delivery, including tracking milestones, facilitating ceremonies, and ensuring secure and compliant cloud solution delivery
  • Experience developing and delivering written and verbal communications, including briefings and presentations for clients, team members, and senior leadership
  • Knowledge of vulnerability management and secure software development practices, including STIGs, NIST SP 800-53, FIPS 199, and remediation planning
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification

  • Experience leading DevOps teams and implementing automation tools and processes
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitLab
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Possession of excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solution Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Architect Certification
