About The Position

The Wet Deck Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for directly supporting the Operations Manager in the comprehensive management of the venue, providing support in the most demanding operational, administrative, and organizational areas. Their main function is to ensure the proper functioning of the venue through operational coordination, incident management, and continuous support in team supervision and administrative control. To act as the primary operational and administrative support for the Operations Manager, ensuring efficiency, control, and excellence in the guest experience within the venue.

Responsibilities

  • Support the supervision of the venue’s daily operations (management of supervisors and talent).
  • Ensure compliance with service and quality standards (support and focus on talent training oriented toward quality and service standards, and support in the internal audit system).
  • Provide support in the coordination of events, activations, and venue programming.
  • Act as a key support point during peak operational demand, ensuring service quality and guest satisfaction.
  • Support administrative tasks and follow‑up on internal processes (schedules, incident emails, warning and disciplinary letters, licenses).
  • Assist in expense control and proper budget allocation (support in P&L analysis, keeping venue expenses up to date, and helping manage controllables).
  • Oversee stock control, ordering, and material management.
  • Manage operational incidents within the venue.
  • Address and resolve team‑related incidents (managing daily staff issues and requests).
  • Support the resolution of guest complaints and claims, ensuring professional responses aligned with W standards.
  • Monitor team performance together with the Operations Manager.
  • Maintain constant communication with supervisors and talent to ensure smooth operations.
