About The Position

SHEIN (SHEIN Technology LLC) is seeking a Backend Engineer II
in San Diego CA, to participate in all phases of the software development life
cycle.

Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle. Collaborate
with English and Chinese speaking teams to troubleshoot online quality problems.
Work closely with English and Chinese speaking cross-functional teams to
diagnose and resolve software issues. Work with documentation and tooling in
Chinese language. Participate in requirements review, design planning, and
implementation. Engage in requirements gathering sessions to clarify new feature
and system needs. Write code according to design requirements and coding
standards, create technical documentation, and ensure code quality and
performance. Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code based on design
documents. Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and identify improvements.
Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior team members. 10% domestic
travel for business meetings and technology support.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or a foreign equivalent in Computer Science, or a related field, plus 1 year post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or any Software Engineering related job titles.
• Written and spoken Chinese language is required.
• 1 year of experience in: Retail supply chain optimization
• 1 year of experience in: Enterprise mobility management (EMM)
• 1 year of experience in: Front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• 1 year of experience in: Java and related technologies - Spring Boot and MyBatis
• 1 year of experience in: OSS technologies including Kafka and container technology including Docker and Kubernetes
• 1 year of experience in: Mobile application development on the Android platform with Kotlin and Flutter
• 1 year of experience in: Large Language Model Operations (LLMOps)
