About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: Food Production - Machine Operator PR05 – Full Time – Enid, OK 73701 INCLUDES: Bagger Operator, Corn Dog Operator, Blend Tech, Raw Clerk, Macerator Operator, Mixer Operator, Wrapper Operator, Press Operator These positions start at $19.90/HR and a shift differential of $.65/HR for 2nd shift. This position is responsible for operating machinery (Blending, Slicing, Grinding, Pressing, Bagger) includes ongoing production flow while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

Must have 6 months of work history with one employer in the past 24 months.
Must have basic math and computer skills.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Follow all necessary procedures to meet and follow USDA and Quality Control Regulations.
Collect and record data manually or in Tyson data collection systems.
Obtain LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) and PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certifications.
Thoroughly cleaning off water and debris in all areas of the machine, including small and large belts.
Inspect machines and sensors regularly.
Swiftly identify and address machinery issues to ensure proper performance.
Understand/use the control panel functions.
Assemble and dismantle equipment.
Stand, sit, bend, walk, stretch, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat, reach, and climb stairs frequently.
Lift, carry, push, and pull 20-70 pounds.
Work in extreme temperatures with damp environments and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces.
Work overtime and weekends.
Understand labels, read recipes, follow instructions, and communicate effectively.
Perform any other work as assigned by management.
