About The Position

The Bagger Operator is part of a rotating position within the production plant. Primary responsibility is running the bagger which produces 50 lb. bales of Hydro Mulch.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain forklift certification (training provided)
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently, as well as to collaborate in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable
• Ability to be at work on time and as scheduled
• Ability and willingness to learn
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual in Spanish (optional)

Responsibilities

• Operate bagger safely and efficiently.
• Manually stacking bags onto pallets.
• Maintain preset production goals.
• Remove out-of-spec bags and hand stack for reprocessing.
• Cut open rejected bales for reprocessing.
• Operator forklift to load and store bags.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.
• Perform additional duties as required.
