About The Position

The Bake Assist at Nothing Bundt Cakes supports the baking team by assisting with daily production tasks to ensure cakes are prepared efficiently and to brand standards. This role helps maintain a smooth baking process by preparing ingredients, assisting with production, and keeping the bakery clean and organized. The Bake Assist plays an important part in helping the team stay ahead of orders and maintain consistent product availability for our guests.

Requirements

Previous kitchen or bakery experience preferred but not required.
Ability to follow instructions and support production processes accurately.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn bakery operations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.

Responsibilities

Assist the Baker with preparing ingredients, batter, and cake pans for daily production.
Support the baking process by helping with tasks such as greasing pans, portioning batter, and preparing racks.
Monitor cakes during cooling and assist with transferring cakes to proper storage areas.
Wash, sanitize, and organize baking tools, equipment, and work areas.
Help maintain proper inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients.
Follow all Nothing Bundt Cakes recipes, procedures, and food safety standards.
Assist with bakery opening and closing tasks as needed.
Work closely with the Baker and Froster teams to support daily cake production goals.
